PROTEOfectene™
PROTEOfectene™ enables proteins to be delivered into living cells with high efficiency and low toxicity, even in cases where serum is present. The structure and function of the proteins delivered into the cells remain absolutely unchanged; cell activity is unimpaired.
PROTEOfectene™ has undergone extensive testing and optimization to enable use to be streamlined into an ultra-easy, targeted and efficient procedure.
A special feature is the extremely low volume of reagent required per assay, so that PROTEOfectene™ thus represents outstanding value for money.
Proteins differ from one another with respect to size, structure, arrangement and bio-physical properties. Unlike nucleic acids, which differ yet have extremely similar bio-physical properties, PROTEOfectene™ forms different types of protein complexes, preventing optimum transport conditions for aspecific protein from being transferred to a different protein type.

PROTEOfectene™ AB
Biontex designed the reagent PROTEOfectene™ AB specifically for delivery of antibodies into living cells. The reagent can be used for all types of antibodies.
Comprehensive studies of complex molecular mechanisms can be performed using this reagent; for example, specific protein functions can be inhibited by means of intra-cellular transport of antibodies, protein development can be tracked or intra-cellular distribution of an antibody in response to a range of influential parameters can be investigated.
