Diluent: Anhydrous Acetonitrile
Coupling: 12 minute coupling time recommended.
Deprotection: As required by nucleobases. Compatible with Ammonium Hydroxide at 55 °C overnight, Ammonium hydroxide/40% methylamine 1:1 (AMA) for 10 minutes at 65 °C or UltraMild deprotection conditions.
Storage: Freezer storage, -10 to -30°C, dry
Stability in Solution:

2,2’-Dipicolylamine is a versatile metal-coordinating ligand capable of forming complexes with common metal ions including Zn2 , Ni2 , Cu2 , or Ag . A tremendous advantage of dipicolylamine is complete compatibility with standard DNA synthesis, cleavage and purification protocols.
