Description
Part 1
A 100 bp long fragment from a conserved region of the RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRP) gene is detected with a FAM labelledhydrolysis probes (530 channel). No degenerate broad-range Sarbeco-virus probe contained (without probe P1 from the WHO protocol).This assay will detect SARS-like CoV-2virus but not all other SARS-like viruses. No cross reactivity with common human respiratory CoV NL63, 229E, HKU, OC43 or MERS
Part 2
A 70 bp long fragment from the Equine Arteritis Virus genome is amplified with specific primers and detected with anAtto647 labelledhydrolysis probe.This product is intended to be used with Equine Arteritis Virus RNA or the provided Extraction Control Target (ECT) as target. The ECT is in-vitro transcribed RNA and not viral RNA or a virus. The ECT is not encapsulated nor protected and might be degradedrapidly after added to biological samples; therefore,add ECT to the lysis buffer instead to the sample.The amount of target spiked to eachsample has to be adjusted,depending on extractionkit used, to yield a Cq value in the range of 30.
Part 3
A One-Step Master Mixdeveloped for robust andhighly sensitive qRT-PCRcontainingReverse Transcriptase, and a bufferwith optimised concentrations of MgCl2, dNTPs, Taq DNApolymerase and stabilisers. To be used in multiplexing analysis together with Part I and II.
