Multi-role position available for a flexible and adaptable scientist at Cambio

Cambio is a small and flexible molecular biology company located just outside Cambridge. We have a long and successful track record in supplying high quality molecular biology reagents and small equipment to universities and research institutes in the UK, Europe and worldwide. We are looking for a new full-time member of the team with a molecular biology background who can participate in sales and marketing activities and offer technical support. The successful applicant would showcase key products at scientific conferences with occasional customer visits and be involved in general office administration.
The post is available immediately and is subject to a probationary period of 3 months.
Starting salary: up to £32,000 per annum
The role includes:
- Sales and Marketing support
- Technical support
- Exhibiting at scientific conferences with occasional customer visits
- Supplier relationship management
- Logistics support
- General office administration
Qualifications required:
- BSc (First or 2.1) in a relevant field.
- PhD in a relevant field is desirable.
Previous experience:
- Small company/startup experience
- Customer facing role
- Molecular biology trouble-shooting
