Conditions

Terms and conditions are to be read in conjunction with the current Cambio Privacy Statement.

Products are sold for research or laboratory use only and not intended to be administered to humans or used for medical diagnostics.

Sample orders will require an End User name for feedback purposes.

Only one of each sample is available per customer.

Shipping

All Sales are net 30 days of invoice. We reserve the right to charge interest at 8% over the base rate on overdue invoices. Products are shipped F.O.B. origin, freight is prepaid and added to the invoice. All orders are subject to final acceptance by Cambio Ltd at the prices in effect at the time of shipment. Cambio Ltd may, in its sole discretion, refuse to ship orders to a location specified by customer. Cambio Ltd will select method of delivery, unless the customer specifies otherwise at their cost; title passes to the customer upon delivery of products to the shipment address.

Pricing

We make every effort to ensure that prices for items on our website always reflect the current prices in our product database. However, an incorrect price may, very rarely, appear in your shopping basket. Prices will be verified after order placement and an order confirmation sent to you by email or fax. Please check your confirmation carefully. You must notify any discrepancies to Cambio within 24 hours; any discrepancies found after this time will be amended case by case, but may incur an administration fee. Prices quoted are for orders sent as a single shipment.

Claims for Shortage

We carefully check and recheck packages before shipment to help eliminate the possibility of errors. If any shipping discrepancies are discovered, claims must be made within 7 days of receipt of shipment. Please check all packing material thoroughly upon receipt of shipment.

Returns

Products may not be returned without prior authorisation by the Cambio Ltd Customer Service Department upon which a Returns Authorisation form will be emailed to you. An administration fee may be charged. Due to the perishable nature of our products, contact the Cambio Ltd Customer Service Department at +44 (0) 1945 210200 as soon as possible.

Hazardous Substances

The absence of a specific warning should not be interpreted to mean that the products have been proven to be non-toxic. The absence of a warning must not be interpreted as an indication of safety.

Warranty and Liability

Cambio Ltd provides the highest quality of resources at reasonable prices. We reserve the right to change, alter, or modify any product to enhance its performance and design. All products will conform to the standards stated in its product specification sheets in effect at the time of shipment. Cambio Ltd. will replace, free of charge, any product that does not conform to the specifications. This warranty limits Cambio's liability only to the replacement of the product. THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE, AND CAMBIO MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

The stated express warranties, and the remedy provided for breach thereof, are in lieu of all other liability or obligations of Cambio for any damages whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the delivery, use, performance, or the inability to use any of its products. IN NO EVENT SHALL CAMBIO BE LIABLE UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY IN TORT, OR WARRANTY OF ANY KIND) FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS). Without limiting the effect of the preceding sentence, Cambio's maximum liability, if any, shall not exceed the purchase price paid by PURCHASER for the product.

This warranty applies only to products in the original container that have been handled and stored in accordance with Cambio Ltd recommendations and does not apply to products that have been the subject of alteration, misuse, or abuse..

Private Consumers

Cambio supplies products for scientific research and educational purposes. We reserve the right to not supply goods to private individuals who do not have a bona fide institutional address.

Specified Customs Agents

Where customers use their own customs brokers we will not accept responsibility for any consequences of customs delays and the potential for temperature-sensitive goods to perish.

International Shipments

We require customers to track products and respond to couriers / customs agents in a timely fashion. We will not held liable for the costs of any goods that have perished in transit due to appropriate customs documentation not being completed within 24 hours of it being requested by customs/couriers.

Temperature-Sensitive Shipments

Perishable goods are shipped with the understanding from customers that the goods are packed in a suitable insulating box with appropriate amounts of ice.

Disclaimer

Cambio shall not be responsible for injury or damage resulting from the use or misuse of any of its products. Persons using these products should be technically qualified.

Sanctions

(a) The Customer shall not sell, export, or re-export, directly or indirectly any goods by Cambio Ltd if it would be a breach of Sanctions Laws.

(b) The Customer shall undertake its best efforts to ensure that the purpose of clause (a) above is not contravened by any third parties further down the commercial chain, including potential resellers.

(c) The Customer shall establish and maintain an adequate monitoring mechanism to detect conduct by any third parties further down the commercial chain, including potential resellers, that would contravene the purpose of clause (a) above.

(d) Any violation of clauses (a), (b) or (c) above shall constitute a material breach of an essential element of Cambio’s Terms and Conditions and will necessitate the customer compensating Cambio Ltd for any relevant losses or penalties that Cambio Ltd incur relating to the violation of (a), (b) or (c) above.

(e) The Customer shall immediately inform Cambio Ltd of any issues in clauses (a), (b) or (c) above, including any relevant activities by third parties that could frustrate the purpose of clause (a) above. The Customer shall provide Cambio Ltd with information concerning compliance with the obligations under clauses (a), (b) or (c) above within two (2) weeks of a simple request for such information.

(f) The Customer shall procure that any sub-contractors or sub-distributors which it uses in relation to any goods or services provided by Cambio Ltd under these Terms and Conditions shall comply in all material respects with the provisions of this clause. The Customer shall remain liable to Cambio Ltd in relation to any breach by any such sub-contractor or sub-distributor of this clause.
