5X HOT Multiplex PCR Master Mix (1 ml) 
A premixed, ready-to-use solution
containing all reagents required for hot-start multiplex PCR – just add
your template DNA, primers and water. A Load-Ready™
master mix, this product includes an additional compound needed for
direct loading onto agarose gel and two tracking dyes (blue and yellow)
to allow easy progress monitoring during electrophoresis. Generated PCR
products are compatible with T/A cloning procedures.
- 1 ml vial
- Sufficient for 250 reactions at 4 μl master mix per reaction (i.e., 20 μl total reaction volume)
- Inhibits primer dimer formation
- Hot-start: initial activation in 12-15 min
- Multiplexing: tested with up to 18 targets (depending on amplicon length)
- Amplicon size: up to 5 kb
- Stable formulation may be shipped or temporarily stored for up to 1 month at room temperature, or up to 1 year at -20°C
Contents:
- 5X Multiplex Buffer with 10 mM MgCl2 (in 1X PCR solution: 2 mM MgCl2)
- Hot-start DNA polymerase
- dNTPs (dATP, dCTP, dGTP and dTTP)
- Bovine serum albumin (BSA) to enhance PCR reaction
- Blue dye with migration rate equivalent to 3.5-4.5 kb DNA fragment
- Yellow dye with migration rate equivalent to 35-45 bp DNA fragment
- Compound that increases sample density for direct gel loading
Recommended storage: -20ºC for 12 months
May be shipped or temporarily stored for up to 1 month at room temperature without discernible loss of activity.
