Spacer phosphoramidites C6, is a simple but powerful building block used
to insert a spacer arm in an oligonucleotide. The six-carbon aliphatic
chain is one of the most widely used spacers and linkers as it offers a
practical balance between flexibility, length, and synthetic robustness.
Spacer C6 may be added in multiple additions when a longer spacer is
required.
Usage
- Coupling: No changes needed from standard method recommended by synthesizer manufacturer.
- Deprotection: No changes needed from standard method recommended by synthesizer manufacturer.
