Thermostable Pyrophosphatase
Thermostable pyrophosphatase is a recombinant, heat-tolerant
(>95°C) acidic pyrophosphatase from a thermophilic archaebacterium.
This enzyme selectively hydrolyzes inorganic pyrophosphate into two
orthophosphate ions under standard buffered conditions (pH 6-9) but will
not degrade other molecules containing phosphodiester bonds (e.g.
nucleotide triphosphates). Inorganic pyrophosphatases can be added to
DNA synthesis and amplification reactions to improve reaction kinetics.

Contains either 1 x 0.25 mL vial (300TAPP-1) or 4 x 0.25 mL vials (300TAPP-2) of Thermostable Pyrophosphatase, 2 U/µL.
