Fibrinogen (factor I) is a soluble, 340 kDa plasma glycoprotein, that is converted by thrombin into fibrin during blood clot formation. Fibrinogen is synthesized in the liver by the hepatocytes.
This aptamer was selected by scientists at Base Pair Biotechnologies using proprietary methods and human plasma fibrinogen, Sigma [Cat. #F3879] as a target and 20 mM Tris, 100 mM NaCl, 0.005% Tween20, in nuclease free water, pH 7.4. Let us know if you have any questions about its development or potential uses.
