Cryophile DNase (heat-labile)
Cryophile DNase (heat-labile) is a genetically engineered form of double-stranded DNase that is rapidly and completely inactivated at moderate temperatures. Cryophile DNase is inactivated at 58°C with a pH above 8.0.
The enzyme requires 1 mM DTT and pH ≥= 8 for complete inactivation. This makes the product very useful for removal of DNA from RNA preparations, since the enzyme may be heat inactivated at temperatures causing only minimal auto-degradation of RNA in the presence of magnesium.
Main advantages with Cryophile DNase
- Double-strand DNA specific endonuclease
- Easily heat-inactivated by very moderate heat treatment
- High specific activity
- Useful for removal of DNA from RNA
