2X PCR Master Mix, Clear (1 ml)
2X PCR Master Mix is an optimized ready-to-use PCR mixture of
Recombinant Taq DNA Polymerase, dNTPs, and PCR Buffer including optimal
concentration of MgCl2. 2X PCR Master Mix contains all
necessary components for PCR, except template DNA and primers. Generated
PCR products are compatible with all downstream applications such as
sequencing and cloning.
For research use only.
- 1 ml vial contains 250 units of Taq DNA polymerase
- Sufficient for 100 reactions at 10 μl master mix per reaction (i.e., 20 μl total reaction volume)
- Compatible with T/A cloning (generates 3′ dA overhangs)
- Compatible with standard PCR, DNA labeling, DNA sequencing, and other applications for a thermostable DNA polymerase
- May be shipped or temporarily stored at room temperature. Long term storage at -20°C for up to 1 year.
Contents:
- 0.25 U/μl Taq DNA polymerase
- 2X PCR buffer
- 0.4 mM dNTPs (dATP, dCTP, dGTP and dTTP)
- 3.2 mM MgCl2
Recommended storage: -20ºC for 12 months
May be shipped at room temperature without discernible loss of activity.
