The sbeadex Lightning Nucleic Acid Purification Starter Kit is intended
for testing purposes, allowing users to evaluate performance and
optimise conditions and workflow for DNA purification from their
specific sample types.
The sbeadex Lightning Nucleic Acid
Purification Starter Kit contains all of the components required to
evaluate and optimise your DNA purification performance.
It allows you to compile your optimal kit composition (Core kit A or B, lysis buffer etc.) tailored to your specific needs.
The Starter Kit includes:
The sbeadex Lightning Starter Kit is suitable for 20 standard
purifications (starting with 200 µL lysate), 10 purifications with
Binding Buffer LP (from Core Kit A) and 10 purifications with Binding
Buffer LU (from Core Kit B). For initial sample screening, it is
recommended to scale down the purification reactions to start with 100
µL lysate to enable double the number of possible purifications to be
performed. This will allow replicate samples to be tested with several
of the possible lysis buffers, and with both possible binding buffers.
Core Kit A is suitable for the majority of sample types. Recommended for most plant samples.
Core Kit B is suitable for specific sample types especially mammalian tissue samples.
