Granzyme B is a serine protease that induces apoptosis. It is involved
with processing of cytokines and degradation of extracellular matrix
proteins in chronic inflammation and wound healing. The preprotein is
secreted by natural killer cells and cytotoxic T lymphocytes, then
proteolytically processed to form the active protease.
Target: Granzyme B
